Libingan Ng Mga Bayani, Fort Bonifacio , Taguig City
Libingan ng mga Bayani (Cemetery of the Heroes) is a cemetery in Taguig, Metro Manila in the Philippines. It was established as a fitting resting place for Filipino heroes and martyrs. Among those buried in the cemetery are most of the defenders of Bataan and Corregidor during World War II. It also contains the national Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Former Philippine presidents Carlos P. Garcia and Diosdado Macapagal are also buried in the cemetery.
On the cemetery's entrance it is written: "I do not know the dignity of his birth, but I know the glory of his death"
I was first time to visit there in Libingan Ng Mga Bayani with my classmate and elder sister because all of us don't know about there and didn't see there in past years ago, when my close friend and uncle knew there are many Heros historical in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, even they not visit yet and then told me about that. Oh? My elder sister talked the guard when my sister told me that there doesn't allows me to take photos these heros in Historical because the President don't want me to shot photos of Heros and also post about that. Suggest me that is better private something. What if i will careless to post here so that I will have punish. Hoping I will not do again! I don't think so but we are only proud of heros who are Filipino during our class in Philippine History, when I just take some photos there simple. It's important for us to learn many things.
